Palm International Nutra-Cosmeceutical Conference (PINC) 2015 is an international conference and exhibition to help create greater awareness and understanding on palm oil nutrition and palm bioactive ingredients and their uses in food and cosmetics applications. Organized by Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), PINC 2015 was participated by international researchers, manufacturers, retailers/pharmacies, nutraceutical/cosmetics formulators and the academia alike to learn and share palm oil’s health benefits in the form of vitamin E tocotrienols, carotenoids and phenolics as palm phytonutrients are emerging as exciting micronutrients for human health backed by rapidly emerging scientific outputs.

Carotino Sdn Bhd participated in PINC 2015 as Silver Sponsor and exhibited Carotino’s range of nutraceutical products including Carotino Red Cooking Oils, Natural Carotenes and Natural Tocotrienols.

Representing Carotino Sdn Bhd, Mr U.R. Unnithan presented a paper titled ‘Red Palm Oil and Palm Carotenoids: Challenges and Opportunities’ in sharing Carotino’s view in overcoming challenges and realizing opportunities in the commercialization of palm nutraceuticals.
