1994 - Gold Medal at the 22nd International Exhibition/Competition of Inventions, Geneva
1996 - CAROTINO started operation in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia.
2001 - Malaysia Star Award for Packaging
2001 - Prime Minister’s Department Innovation Award
2005 - Special Award for Development of Malaysian Brand by Malaysian International
Trade and Industries (MITI)
2005 - Malaysia Brand Award by Ministry of Plantation Industries & Commodities.
2006 - Official Launching of “The World First Integrated Palm Biodiesel Plant” by the then Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi.
2010 - Carotino Palm Oil Mills achieved RSPO Certifications. 
2011 - Expanded and upgraded MCT plant to produce superior quality product including undetectable taste and odor meeting the stringent requirements for flavors, special foods, cosmetics and other high value applications.
2011 - Commissioned an innovative new oleochemical plant to produce high quality C16 and C18 fatty acids from PFAD. C16 fatty acids can be used in the food and feed industries while C18 fatty acids are suitable for industries making food additives and emulsifiers, cosmetics and personal care products, detergents and surfactants, grease and lubricants, rubber, latex and plastics.
2011 - Carotino achieved RSPO Supply Chain certification which means that RSPO certification is now extended from our plantations and the mills to the refinery and downstream processing plants. 
2011 - Another achievement in GMP+B2 certification, setting a high standard for the production of animal feed ingredients with full HACCP safety controls in place.
2012 - Carotino achieved ISCC certification in February 2012. ISCC which stands for International Sustainability and Carbon Certification reaffirms Carotino's status as a company with sustainable practices resulting in biodiesel products that meets EU's stringent GHG savings requirements.
2012 - The company achieved FSSC 22000: 2010 certification.  FSSC (Food Safety Standards Certification) is a level higher than HACCP or ISO 22000 standards as it incorporates additional food safety programs that includes food defence, biovigilance and bioterrorism.
2013 -
Carotino’s new Phytonutrient Plant was officiated by YB Dato Sri Douglas Uggah Embas, Minister of Plantation Industries & Commodities on 22nd July 2013. Commissioning of the plant is in progress and soon we will be marketing Natural Palm Carotenes and Tocotrienols for neutraceutical, personal care and colorant applications.
2013 - Carotino successfully commissioned a new Spray Cooler plant for the production of feed ingredients in Aug 2013.  These are fat granules of various grades suitable for animal feed applications.  We are working closely with Berg & Schmidt in the marketing of these products.
2013 - The company has successfully upgraded FSSC22000:2010 certification to FSSC22000:2013
2014 - Carotino commissioned our Phytonutrient Plant in August 2014.  Our own brand of Natural Palm Carotenes and Natural Palm Tocotrienols is now available in the market.
2015 - Carotino Mill achieved RSPO/IP certification for the plantations and mill at Sri Jaya, Pahang
2015 - Carotino Mill received an award from the Dept of Environment, Pahang for being the Best Overall Mill in Pahang for 2014/2015.
2016 - Received The Social Responsible Company Award during the Carnival Labour Day Parliament of Pasir Gudang 2016.
2017 - Received The Safety & Health Committee Award during the Pasir Gudang Labour Day Carnival 2017

2018 -
Carotino has been awarded letter of conformity upon comply to SMETA 4 pillars requirements.
SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is the audit methodology created by the Sedex membership to give a central agreed audit protocol, which can be confidently shared.
SMETA 4 pillars audit consist of labour standards, health and safety, environment and business ethics.

The company has successfully upgraded from FSSC22000:2013 to Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000 (Version 4.1) and upgraded from ISO9001:2008 to ISO9001:2015
2019 - Carotino achieved Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) Supply Chain Certification

The company joined EcoVadis platform. The EcoVadis Rating covers a broad range of non-financial management systems including Environmental, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement impacts.
2020 - The company has successfully upgraded from Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000 (Version 4.1) to Version 5

The company has successfully renewed MeSTI (Food Safety Is The Responsibility of The Industry) certification scheme.
MeSTI is a food safety assurance programme by Malaysia Ministry of Health to control processing operations in food manufacturing premises.
